XSpeed Driver Training Day - Saturday 21st January 2006
It's not often you get an oppurtunity to push the limits on your own vehicle, in a safe and legal environment. The AHG Driving Centre,
situated out near the Perth International Airport is a venue designed for exactly that. So XSpeed booked Saturday 21st January 06 to take out
the staff and some customers to give them the oppurtunity to tackle some little autokhana courses and put their cars to the test.
The 4 hour programme started with a half hour theory session on Performance Driving techniques, including vision, seating posture, cornering and braking techniques,
smooth driving and weight transfer, and then everyone had the chance to put it all into practice on the track.
The instructors accompanied everyone on the first few runs to guide them through the best and most effective way to handle the car. After everyone picked up the hang of it,
some new courses were setup and everyone had a great amount of fun for the rest of the day.
