Australian Grand Prix
The Australian Grand Prix was first held in 1928, it consists of 58 laps with teams racing over a gruelling 300 km. Held in Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit in Melbourne and is one of Australia’s premium sporting events held in the calendar year. Australian Targa Championship
Targa Australia is the world’s largest and longest tarmac rally event with a high degree of difficulty known as Targa Tasmania. This genuine motorsport competition attracts competitors all over Australian and around the world, all competing against the clock to see who has the fastest car in their category. Three other Targa events include Targa North West, Targa Great Barrier Reef and Targa High Country bring together a field of sports cars, grand touring cars and classic sporting automobiles from 1900 right through to the present. Bathurst 1000
The Bathurst 1000 held annually on the Mount Panorama Circuit in Bathurst, New South Wales is a top motor racing event for Supercars. The race began in 1960 was originally hosted at Philip Island Grand Prix Circuit before being located to Bathurst in 1963. It consists of 161 lap circuit with a total distance of 1000 km for drivers to complete. Winners of the race are awarded the Peter Brock Trophy to commemorate the 9 time winning champion. Motorclassica Car Show
Motorclassica is Australasia’s largest and most prestigious exhibition of classic, exotic, prestige cars and motorcycles. In celebration of the history in motoring and automobiles, it is held at the world heritage listed Royal Exhibition Building in Melbourne and hosts over 500 vehicles mixed with fine food and wine along with more than 100 trade exhibitors.
