 XSpeed, the turbo charged company in auto enhancements, was established in Perth, Western Australia in 1998 at our previous 222 square metre premises in the Southern suburb of Myaree.
Over the years following the establishment of XSpeed, there has been an endless stream of "accessory supply" shops working under the guile of being "professional tuners" or Internet "Home-Based" shops run by inexperienced enthusiasts who have no clue on the working ins and outs of the parts that they try to sell on the internet.
As a result, high performance enthusiasts have been subjected to an ever increasing number of problems resulting from the poor workmanship done by these accessory shops, or the lack of professional advice from the Internet "shops".
It is with these problems from our customers' feedbacks that XSpeed has decided to expand operations to our current 800 square metre XSpeed Performance Centre in the Southern Perth suburb of O'Connor (it is a 10 minute drive South from our previous location).
We have always realised the need for a quality and professional workshop and tuner in Western Australia to cater to these enthusiasts. Our New Performance Centre has been specifically designed to cater to your performance needs. Gone will be the days of the back yard mechanic (many of whom are NOT even mechanics by trade!).
Our New Performance Centre features a 150 square metre showroom showcasing all the latest High Performance gear from leading Japanese and Australian manufacturers. We also have a 600 square metre workshop area that has a 70 square metre purpose built engine building clean room and a 80 square metre dyno room that features Western Australia's FIRST temperature and humidity controlled dyno room.
XSpeed's concept of one stop shopping for auto fans is housed in our showroom and service centre. Here our customers and fellow enthusiasts will be able to talk with experts, swap notes, shop, repair, modify, soup up and trade up their autos and auto parts.
When XSpeed first entered the market, we concentrated mainly on the servicing and the building of high performance engines, but soon thereafter developing through full project car work. Today, we handle almost everything inside and out, from turbo and fuel injection systems to complete engine building and ECU tuning on our new Single/Twin Retarder 4WD Dyno Dynamics 450 Chassis Dynamometer that can handle 1,800hp at the wheels! We have the only such Dyno, and are also the only ShootOut Accredited 4WD Dyno in Western Australia.
Our qualified and expert staff has well over 50 years combined experience tuning Japanese and Australian vehicles. No doubt, this is why XSpeed customers have labelled us among the elite for high performance tuning in Western Australia.

Hanson has been a car enthusiast his whole life and enjoys being able to mix his passion with his business. Since starting XSpeed in 1998, he has overseen the growth and development of this company into Perth's leading high performance vehicle centre.
Hanson's rides include a 2005 Nissan Skyline 350GT Coupe loaded with an HKS turbo kit, HKS Big Brake Upgrade etc, an ongoing Nissan S15 project with a HKS 2.8Lt RB26DETT Conversion and a very nice mint condition Nissan Skyline DR30.

Anthony Scali
Mechanic / Tuner / Engine Builder
Anthony brings to XSpeed a vast experience with building and tuning really high horsepowered and reliable Nissans. His forte is with the Nissan Skyline and the Silvia/180SX/200SX range of vehicles. Although his knowledge and experience working on other makes of vehicles makes him a walking encyclopedia here at XSpeed.
Anthony has built and tuned WA's current highest horsepowered RB26DETT. His constant drive to improve the building and tuning of engines at XSpeed is seen as a great investment for our customers.
Anthony's daily ride is a R32 Skyline GTR with a HKS 2.8l motor that sports twin HKS T04Z ball bearing turbos that makes 881.8 hp @ all 4 wheels. His ongoing "Datto Project" with a radical SR20DET motor will be featured in our Secret Sports section soon.
Anthony's GTR is also the fastest Street Registered Skyline in WA with a 10.74 1/4 mile pass.

Richard
Mechanic / Sales
Richard joined the XSpeed team last year from the UK bringing nearly 10 years of Japanese tuning experience with him, with Nissan GTI-R’s Toyota Supra’s and Subaru Impreza’s being the base of his knowledge. Also a wealth of experience in European vehicle diagnostics and turbocharger replacements adds another useful string to XSpeeds bow.
With the UK tuning indusrty heading more and more towards Time attack and track days, Richard's experience in suspension, handling, braking and weight reduction modification is essential as the popularity of simular events in Perth is seeing cars move away from Drag set up to Circuit spec.
Richard's current projects include a Turbo Diesal Nissan Terrano 4WD, and a track set up Nissan 180SX which will be shipped from the UK at some point this year.
