After 7 1/2 years on the team here at XSpeed, Andre Veenendaal (AKA Dr Dre), our resident fabricator and mechanic has decided try something different and has joined the team at the RAC in Myaree. We wish him all success in his new endeavour.

 | HKS Launches the All-New EVC Boost Controller

The new HKS EVC has improved boost stability for maintaining pressure at high RPMs providing increased top-end power, and a new mapping feature allows boost pressure to be precisely tuned for throttle + RPM (or vehicle speed). The new EVC also offers a selectable kPa or PSI unit of measure, and a unique warning feature where if over boosting occurs, boost pressure can be programmed to drop to a user preset level.  | Our 4WD Dyno is up and running!

Straight after the Autotecknica Show at the Burswood dome over the weekend, Dom & Micko from Dyno Dynamics brought the front rollers & bed of the Lowboy 4WD dyno here and mated it to our existing twin retarder 2WD dyno. Our Dyno is now up and running, and ready to take on all 4WD vehicles for power runs and tuning up to 1,800hp @ the wheels!!!
We are also the only Shootout Accredited 4WD dyno in WA. Shootout, the industry standard in HP measurements!

 | XSpeed adds a 4WD Dyno to our Workshop

We have just ordered a Dyno Dynamics Single Retarder 4WD Dyno and Bed upgrade to our Twin Retarder 2WD Dyno. With this addition, we will be able to tune 4WD vehicles up to 1,800hp at the wheels! We will also be the ONLY 4WD Shootout Accredited Dyno in WA. This dyno will be delivered around the 10th of April 2006, and should be set up for use soon thereafter.
